The following feedback was submitted on the WHO proposal for a joint process to support the transformation of the global health architecture drawing on the work of the Platform for ACT-A Civil Society and Community Representatives (co-hosted by WACI Health, STOPAIDS and Global Fund Advocates Network (GFAN)).
This feedback draws on a set of principles of meaningful engagement of civil society and community representatives in ACT-A developed by the Platform and shared with WHO and global health institutions. These were developed in the absence of a decision-making structure in ACT-A in order to improve overall engagement. This document outlines the key actions that civil society and community representatives requested lead agencies implement in ACT-A and provide important guidance on implementing meaningful participation in the current WHO proposal on global health architecture reform.
